OT24Vx

OT4OT  have  organised, coordinated and hosted a  free 24 hour virtual exchange (OT24Vx) in celebration of World OT Day for the last 2 years (2010 and 2011). Links to the presenters, schedule and recordings can be found under the “Archive” section to be found on the tabs above – please note recordings of 2010 are no longer available and recordings of 2011 will become unavailable by July 2012.

This means you get to attend up to 24 hours of live speaker presentations and discussions from the international world of occupational therapy – you get to do this for free, from your own space (work, home, cafe). All you need to access to a computer and the internet.

Essentially the principle of knowledge transfer dictates  that a good turn should be received with grace and rather than reciprocated to the giver, should be passed forwards so that goodwill or kindness or knowledge is shared.

What this means for us is that the speakers in these events have all given their time willingly and for free. The 6 organisers of the event have done the same. The organisation that hosts the online platform freely allows access to its virtual classrooms.  All we ask from you is that you carry on the process and share your knowledge and experience with others to continue moving the profession forward.
